Kage Brown is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of HSG Medical, where he leads all aspects of the firm’s healthcare real estate development and investment activities. He is responsible for investment oversight and financial structuring, project design, entitlements, construction management, leasing strategy, and long-term asset management.

Kage has been involved in over $1.2 billion of real estate transactions nationwide, including more than 2.0 million square feet of commercial and medical space and 1,500+ residential units. His experience spans complex ground-up development, redevelopment and large-scale mixed-use projects across multiple markets.

Prior to real estate, Kage was an analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Kage serves on the Leadership Council for Communities in Schools of Chicago (CISC) and is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago, Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Associate Board. He lives in Chicago with his wife, Jess, and their three children.
